Bicycle

Today I rode my bike to the grocery store, first ever bike ride on actual roads in Greater Boston. Some observations:

1. Biking is so fast! I didn't know walking was slow until now.
2. It was actually fun, not terrifying, although I didn't go on any super busy streets.
3. For the first time in over a year, one way street signs are relevant to my life.
4. Left hand turns are going to take some practice.
5. It is refreshing to be learning a new skill for its intrinsic pleasure and value, not for career advancement or some other external motivator.
